Herut
Palestinian Statehood
Herut vehemently opposed the idea of a Palestinian state between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River.
Peace Process
The Oslo Accords should be nullified, as should the Wye Agreement for the transfer of Hebron to Palestinian rule.
Jerusalem
Jerusalem must remain the united, eternal capital of the State of Israel
Israeli Communities in the Territories (Settlements)
Encourage creation of new communities while strengthening the existing ones.
Demographic Issues
Encourage Palestinians and Israeli Arabs to immigrate to Arabic nations in order to strengthen the Jewish majority of Israel thereby safeguarding the state's Jewish character for generations to come. Additionally, Herut believes that citizenship should be contingent upon a citizen's loyalty to Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
Economy & Social Welfare
Cessation of populist legislation that hurts the economically weaker parts of the population and increases unemployment.
Religion & State
Strengthening of the Jewish/Zionist education in Israeli school system and changing the Law of Return to stem the tide of non-Jewish immigrates given citizenship by the non-halachic definition of "who is a Jew."
